Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
peli is a private journaling and reflection app. this privacy policy explains what information peli may receive, how that information is used, and the choices available to you. by using peli, you agree to this policy together with the peli terms of use and the peli end user license agreement.
peli is intended only for adults. you must be at least 18 years old to download, access, or use the app.
2. Who Operates Peli
this policy is issued by the operator of the peli mobile application. questions about privacy can be sent to larenityofarhazubiandoro@outlook.com.
peli is not affiliated with apple. apple's own privacy policy covers apple id, app store billing, and restore.
3. What Peli Does
peli lets you write guided or free journal entries, attach optional photos, browse a private timeline, and reopen older entries in revisit. entries are for your own use. peli does not operate a public feed, social network, dating service, or community comments.
journal text, photos you attach, mood tags, profile details you enter, and in-app settings are stored so we can provide peli to you. that may include servers we operate or that process data on our behalf. entries remain for your own use. they are not published as a public feed and are not shared with other peli users.
4. Information You Choose To Provide
you may choose to add information while using peli, including:
- journal text, guided answers, and later reflections.
- photos you select from your device to attach to an entry.
- optional profile details used for the 18+ gate, such as a display name or birthday.
- settings such as the active prompt pack or reminder preference.
- messages, screenshots, or other materials you send when contacting support.
you decide what to write and which photos to attach. do not include another person's sensitive personal information, identification documents, financial details, or images of other people unless you have the right to do so and the people shown are adults.
5. Photos And Media
if you attach a photo to an entry, peli accesses only the image you select through the system photo picker. peli does not scan your full photo library for advertising and does not publish your photos to other users.
6. In-App Purchases
Peli may offer optional paid digital items through the Apple App Store, including auto-renewing subscriptions, virtual currency, and other in-app purchases. Free features remain available without purchase. Payments are processed by Apple, and Peli does not collect payment card or other payment-account information.
Purchased items are licensed for personal use within Peli, have no cash value, and may not be sold, transferred, or redeemed for cash, except as permitted by Apple Family Sharing. Purchased virtual currency does not expire.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase or within 24 hours before renewal. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion may be forfeited when you subscribe.
Eligible purchases can be restored after reinstalling the app using the Apple Account associated with the purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple. If Apple refunds or reverses a transaction, Peli may revoke the related items or benefits.
Apple may provide limited transaction information, such as purchase entitlement, transaction identifiers, and subscription validity periods. Peli uses this information only to provide and restore purchased benefits, and does not use it for advertising, marketing, or sale.
7. Support And Technical Information
if you email support, we receive the address you use, the content of your message, and any files you attach. we use that information to respond and to improve the product.
the operating system or app store may also provide limited technical information in connection with installs, crashes, or restore, such as device type, app version, or a store token. peli uses such information only to operate the app, apply a restore, and answer support.
8. Information We Do Not Seek
peli does not operate public profiles, follower lists, chats, or user-to-user messaging. peli does not request contacts, microphone, or health records to journal. peli does not sell personal information and does not use your journal for interest-based third-party advertising.
peli is not a medical, counseling, or emergency product. it does not collect health records or provide diagnosis.
9. How Information Is Used
information associated with peli is used to:
- show your entries, timeline, and revisit flow in the app, including across devices when you sign in.
- apply vip, coin, and prompt-pack benefits using store-returned records, and put those benefits back after restore.
- enforce the 18+ requirement and keep your settings.
- respond to support requests and investigate problems you report.
- maintain security, stop abuse of paid digital items, and meet legal obligations.
we do not use your journal text or photos to train public generative models for unrelated products, and we do not share those entries with other peli users.
10. Sharing
peli does not sell your personal information. information may be disclosed only in these limited situations:
- to apple, as needed for a buy, restore, renewal, or refund. apple handles the payment, receipt, renewal, and refund under apple's own privacy policy.
- to service providers who host, store, or transmit the service, receive support email, or otherwise help us operate peli, if they are bound to use the information only for that work.
- if required by law, court order, or a lawful government request.
- to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, the public, or the operator of peli.
- as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the app, in which case this policy will continue to apply or you will be notified of a successor policy.
11. Retention
journal content and account details are kept while your account is active and as needed to provide peli. you may delete an entry in the app. you may also use delete account & data in me, or email us, to ask that we delete information we hold for your account. support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and keep a reasonable record of the conversation. purchase history held by apple is governed by apple.
removing the app from a device does not by itself delete copies we hold for your account. some records may remain where we must keep them for legal or security reasons, or where apple keeps store history on your apple id.
12. Your Choices And Rights
you may edit or delete entries, sign out, decline photos, and request deletion of your account from me or by email. you may refuse every paid item and still use the free plan. manage or cancel subscriptions as described under in-app purchases. billing, refund, and family sharing questions go to apple.
you may contact us to ask questions, request access, request deletion of information we hold for your account, or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. depending on where you live, you may also have rights to know, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. email larenityofarhazubiandoro@outlook.com from the address you used to contact us and describe what you need. we may ask for information reasonably needed to verify the request.
13. Security
we take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect information connected with peli, including reliance on platform security for sign-in and store purchases. no method of transmission or electronic processing is completely secure. protect your device with a passcode, keep the operating system updated, and protect your apple id. peli cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
14. Children
peli is an 18+ application. it is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. if you believe a person under 18 has used peli or sent us personal information, contact larenityofarhazubiandoro@outlook.com. we will take reasonable steps to stop the use and delete information in our control.
15. International Use
peli may be used by adults in more than one country. journal content, account details, and support messages may be stored or processed in the country where the operator is established or where our service providers host the service. by using peli, you understand that those transfers may occur as needed to operate the app and support.
16. Third-Party Platforms
when you download peli from the apple app store, apple processes install and apple id information under apple's own policies. optional purchases, refunds, family sharing eligibility, and restore are controlled by apple. peli is not responsible for apple's privacy practices or websites you visit after leaving peli.
17. Changes To This Policy
we may update this privacy policy when the product, law, or our practices change. the updated effective date will appear at the top of this page. continued use of peli after an update means you accept the revised policy. if a change is material, we will provide a reasonable in-app or store notice where practical.
