Terms of Use
1. Agreement
these terms of use govern your access to and use of the peli mobile application, including guided prompts, journal entries, timeline, revisit, optional paid digital items, and related support. by downloading, opening, or using peli, you agree to these terms, the peli privacy policy, and the peli end user license agreement. if you do not agree, do not use peli.
2. Eligibility
peli is for adults only. you must be at least 18 years old. by using peli you confirm that you are 18 or older, that you have the legal capacity to enter this agreement, and that you will comply with these terms. if we learn that a user is under 18, we may stop providing the app to that user.
3. The Service
peli is a private journaling and reflection tool. you can answer guided prompts or write freely, attach photos you choose, browse a private timeline, and later reopen an older entry in revisit. entries are for your own use. we may store them on our systems so you can access them in peli. peli does not run a public feed, comments, dating features, or user-to-user chat.
peli is not counseling, therapy, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. it does not promise health, mood, or life outcomes. if you need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional. prompts are writing aids, not clinical advice.
4. Accounts And Apple Id
you may sign in with the options shown in the app. you can journal on the free plan without buying anything. optional purchases are completed through the apple id signed in on the device. you are responsible for that apple id and for anyone who uses peli on your device.
5. Your Journal Content
you retain whatever rights you already have in the text and photos you add. you grant the operator of peli a limited permission to store, host, and process that content solely to provide peli to you — including displaying it in the app, letting you edit or delete it, and providing support if you send it to us.
you are responsible for your entries. you agree that your content will not include unlawful material, sexual content involving minors, others' private information, or photos you are not allowed to use. journal entries are private to you and are not published by peli.
6. Acceptable Use
you agree not to:
- use peli if you are under 18.
- copy, scrape, resell, or republish prompts, design, or software except as allowed by law.
- reverse engineer the app except where a statute permits it.
- bypass, interfere with, or exploit purchase flows, restore, coin balances, vip periods, prompt-pack locks, trial limits, or other access controls.
- present peli as medical, clinical, or emergency care.
- use peli for any unlawful purpose.
7. In-App Purchases
Peli may offer optional paid digital items through the Apple App Store, including auto-renewing subscriptions, virtual currency, and other in-app purchases. Free features remain available without purchase. Payments are processed by Apple, and Peli does not collect payment card or other payment-account information.
Purchased items are licensed for personal use within Peli, have no cash value, and may not be sold, transferred, or redeemed for cash, except as permitted by Apple Family Sharing. Purchased virtual currency does not expire.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase or within 24 hours before renewal. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion may be forfeited when you subscribe.
Eligible purchases can be restored after reinstalling the app using the Apple Account associated with the purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple. If Apple refunds or reverses a transaction, Peli may revoke the related items or benefits.
Apple may provide limited transaction information, such as purchase entitlement, transaction identifiers, and subscription validity periods. Peli uses this information only to provide and restore purchased benefits, and does not use it for advertising, marketing, or sale.
8. Intellectual Property
peli, the app name, visual design, prompts, and related materials are owned by the operator of peli or its licensors. these terms do not transfer those rights to you. you receive a personal, limited, revocable license to use peli for your own non-commercial journaling, as described in the eula.
if you believe content in peli infringes your copyright, send a notice to larenityofarhazubiandoro@outlook.com with your name, contact details, a description of the work, the location of the material in the app, and a statement made in good faith that the use is not authorized.
9. Third Parties
apple is independent of peli. apple's terms apply to the app store, apple id billing, and restore. peli is not responsible for app store outages or apple account problems.
10. Disclaimer
peli is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. to the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator of peli disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement.
we do not warrant that prompts are complete, that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that journaling will improve mood or health. some places do not allow a full disclaimer; in those places, the disclaimer applies to the maximum extent permitted.
11. Limitation Of Liability
to the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator of peli will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, even if advised that such damages were possible, including loss tied to an in-app purchase.
to the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to peli will not exceed the amount you paid through the app store, if any, for the peli item most closely related to the claim during the twelve months before the claim, or if you paid nothing, the smallest amount such law still allows. these limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited.
12. Indemnity
you will defend and indemnify the operator of peli against claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the app, your journal content, or your violation of these terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
13. Suspension And Ending Use
you may stop using peli at any time by removing the app or using delete account & data in me. removing the app does not by itself delete account copies we hold, and it does not cancel an apple subscription; you still cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. we may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if the app is withdrawn from a store, or if we discontinue the product. sections that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property, purchase licenses, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity, will survive.
14. Changes
we may update these terms as the product or the law changes. the new effective date will appear at the top of this page. if you continue to use peli after an update, you accept the revised terms. if you do not agree, stop using the app.
15. General
these terms are the agreement between you and the operator of peli for use of the app, together with the privacy policy and eula. if a court finds a part unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. a failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. you may not assign these terms without our consent. we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the app.
these terms are governed by the laws that apply in the place where the operator of peli is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that apple's licensed application terms may also apply to peli obtained from the app store. if you have a mandatory consumer right in your country of residence, that right is not displaced.
